The SENCo Induction workshop is designed to give you the confidence and practical knowledge needed to succeed in the SENCo role. Through clear guidance on key policies and hands-on strategies, you will develop the skills to effectively support children with SEND within your setting.
By the end of the course, you’ll feel equipped to lead with confidence, implement inclusive practices, and make a meaningful difference to children’s outcomes. The SEN Support Guidance is threaded throughout the course, helping you to embed inclusive practice, provide tailored support, and build strong, collaborative relationships with families.
This workshop is only applicable to those who meet the following criteria:
- Are currently, or are about to become, the named SENCo for the setting
- Are Level 3 Early Years Childcare trained, or currently working towards the qualification, including Early Years Childminders
- Have not attended the Hampshire SFYC SENCo Induction in the past 2 years.
Please note: this is a face-to-face workshop, and participants are required to attend the full session. In the event that the workshop is oversubscribed, priority will be given to those who have not attended previously.
