Special Educational Needs (SEN) Service contacts

The SEN Service is dedicated to supporting children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)

The SEN service’s primary function is to fulfil the local authority’s statutory obligation to assess, meet and review the needs of children and young people with special educational needs (SEN), through engagement with families and support professionals.

There is a lot of information available to families on our Local Offer site. We hope that you will be able to find the information you want here.

If your child is undergoing an Education, Health and Care Needs Assessment, you can log in to the SEN Hub to check the progress of this assessment and obtain the information you need quickly.

If you are a member of staff in an education setting you should have the name and contact information of your SEN Caseworker. If you need this information, please contact your area team via the email address below.

The SEN Service Helpdesk is open from 9:30am to 12:30pm, Monday to Friday. Please contact us on 01329 316165 or alternatively email the appropriate team for your area of Hampshire or the SEN Helpdesk team via email [email protected]

If your child already has an Education, Health and Care Plan or we have agreed to carry out an Education, Health and Care Needs Assessment, you will have an allocated caseworker and they will be best placed to investigate your query. Your call will be put through to your caseworker if they are immediately available and, if not, we will pass on your query for you.
