Further information relating to Impact care training courses for adult care staff and care managers

The course you are looking for isn’t listed on the website

We add new courses onto our website throughout the year. If a course you would like to attend is sold out on our website, you can sign up to the Impact newsletter to keep up to date with new course releases.

Receiving your joining instructions

After purchasing a course, the buyer will receive two emails. The first email will include a summary of your tickets, your order total and buyer information.

Following this, you will receive a second email which will include a link to your pre course information, known as a digital download. The PDF will be available to download and includes all pre course details, such as time, date, location, course descriptions etc.

If you are purchasing the course on behalf of someone else, you will need to forward the digital download to delegates before the course start date, so that they have the necessary details to attend training.

Attending training where you or your member of staff has an accessibility or learning need

We are committed to delivering high-quality training that is inclusive and accessible to all. We understand that attendees may have additional needs. If there is a need or requirement that the trainer should be aware of, email [email protected] with details as soon as possible.

Cancellation terms

All of our cancellation terms can be found in section 8 of our Terms and conditions.

If you can no longer attend your booked course or are unwell on the day of your training

Unfortunately due to our system, we are unable to transfer your booking onto another date. However, you can request a cancellation via [email protected] and rebook onto your preferred course date.

If you are unwell on the day of training, contact us at [email protected] as soon as possible. We can then inform our trainer that you will not be attending and make a note on your booking details.

Refunds can take between 7-10 days to reach your account.

Workplace training courses provided by Impact

If you can no longer attend a course and would like to pass your place onto a colleague

If you can no longer attend but would like to transfer your space to a colleague, we would be happy to amend your booking. Contact us at [email protected] in advance of the course start date so we can update our records and our trainer.

If a last minute or on-the-day change in attendance is made, please inform the trainer at the beginning of the course so that we can make important administrative changes.

We cannot offer a place swap for Moving and handling- train the trainer (4 day), or Moving and handling - train the trainer refresher courses.
