This packed one-day workshop introduces beginners to the colour wheel and the use of complementary colours to create contrast and shadow. Simple exercises will demonstrate how to handle washes and add pigment for tonal depth.
Learn wet techniques for colour blending and dry techniques for sharp edges, then finish by painting a flower using both approaches.
Led by professional artist and author Sally Pinhey.
