Join aviation historian Martin Radford for a captivating lecture on Bert Hinkler, the pioneering Australian aviator who made history in 1928 as the first person to fly solo from England to Australia. As Chief Test Pilot for Avro Aviation, Hinkler set multiple long-distance flight records and had notable connections to Southampton. Discover the story of his adventurous life and his tragic final flight in 1933.
