Report abandoned signs or equipment

We aim to collect all of our signs, barriers, and equipment as soon as works have finished. However, there might be instances where some items are overlooked.

Not all roadwork signs and equipment are the responsibility of Hampshire County Council Highways. They could belong to a third party, such as a utility company, who have carried out works. Look for markings on the equipment or sign that indicates who it belongs to. If the signs or equipment appear to belong to a third party, please contact the company direct.

If you believe that the signs or equipment belong to Hampshire County Council Highways, please report it to us using the form below. Please provide as much detail as possible about the types of item(s) and their location. If possible please provide pictures because this will help us to determine the correct council team to arrange collection.

Progress updates after your report

After submitting your report, you will not receive further updates. If you wish to track the progress of your enquiry or provide additional comments, you can do so using our Status Checker. Please do not report the same issue more than once or contact us for general updates, as this will add further pressure to our services.
