Responsibility for removing graffiti depends on where it is located
Public buildings, monuments, and street furniture
Foe example graffiti on things like:
- street name plates
- litter bins
- benches
These are maintained by your local borough, city, or district council. Please report the issue to the relevant council direct.
Utility boxes and substations
Removal of graffiti from utility boxes and substations is the responsibility of the equipment owner. If you know which company owns the equipment, please report graffiti to the company direct.
If the owner of the equipment is unclear, report the issue to us using the form below.
The rail network
Graffiti on the rail network is the responsibility of Network Rail or the local train company. Please report the issue to Network Rail.
Graffiti on land or assets maintained by Hampshire County Council on the roads network
This means graffiti in places such as underpasses, bridges, fences, railings etc.
