Hampshire County Council is not responsible for street cleaning.

Issues relating to matters such as litter, leaves and road sweeping should be reported to your local council (borough, city, or district council).

Hazardous materials on the highway

If you wish to report hazardous materials on the highway, please report this to us using the form below.

Hazardous situations may include:

• fuel/oil spillage on the highway
• hazardous debris (such as glass) or debris causing an obstruction on the highway
• moss on a footpath

Please provide as much detail as possible about the types of hazard and the location. Where possible, provide photos because this will help us to locate and assess the issue.

Please do not report the same issue more than once or contact us for general updates, as this will add further pressure to our services.
