Scheme overview

We are proposing to reduce the speed limit on Chilbolton Avenue to 30mph through the introduction of new speed limit signs and road markings. Lower vehicle speeds can help create a safer and more accessible environment for everyone using the route, including people who walk, wheel (for example, wheelchair and mobility scooter users), cycle and drive, while also helping to reduce traffic noise and improve air quality.
