Scheme overview

A Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) funded scheme, funded by Havant Borough Council, to extend and connect cycle routes from the Milton Road roundabout to the borough boundary. The scheme provides an upgraded cycle route along Hambledon Road, linking to the existing route to Denmead.
The project will be delivered in stages. The first stage focuses on the southern (town) end, including improved cycle and pedestrian facilities at the Milton Road roundabout, a safer crossing of Milton Road, and a better link to Aston Road.
The scheme has been adopted into Hampshire County Council’s capital programme as an externally funded project and will be delivered by Havant Borough Council.
Further information is available on their webpage.

As part of the wider improvements in Waterlooville, Havant Borough Council has developed a masterplan for the town centre, setting a vision for future regeneration, growth, and improvements to local facilities and public spaces. Please visit their webpage  for more information.
