- Scheme overview
- A new zebra crossing is proposed on Headley Road in Liphook to make it safer and easier for people to cross the road. The scheme aims to improve accessibility and create a safer, more convenient route for pedestrians, by introducing enhanced crossing facilities and traffic calming features. Additional improvements will also help to improve visibility and drainage in the area, supporting a safer environment for all road users.
- Funding Arrangements
- Funding for the transport capital delivery schemes is separate from the County Council’s revenue budget and savings proposals. In the majority of cases funding comes from external grants and / or Section 106 contribution from developers. This funding usually has conditions that strictly control on how, where and when it can be spent.
