Petition - Prevent the closure of Bordon's Refuse and Recycling Centre

Thank you for contacting Hampshire County Council regarding the proposed closures of Hampshire Household Waste Recycling Centres (HWRCs) and your petition to prevent the closure of Bordon.

The proposal of HWRC closures was made under the County Council's Future Services Consultation. The consultation closed on 31 March 2024, and the feedback is being processed. As your correspondence has been received following 31 March, it will not be included in the consultation reporting, however, please be assured we have noted your petition within the Waste Management Team to support the decision making process.

Decisions on the consultation proposals are expected to be made during summer 2024. For further information about the consultation, please see the webpage: Hampshire County Council Future Services Consultation.
