OurHants mobile application

Hampshire County Council collects information about you to offer services included in the OurHants mobile application. Currently services are limited to Household Waste Recycling Centre (HWRC) bookings only.

OurHants app does not use any cookies for tracking.

Users can add Personal Data to the My Personal Details section of the OurHants app. These details will be used when making an HWRC booking and will be retained by the HRWC system as detailed in the Household Waste Recycling Centre booking system privacy notice. These details will not be used for any other purpose by the OurHants app.

Users can update/delete their Personal Data in Personal Details on the OurHants app at any time.

The OurHants app will store details of current HWRC Bookings in the My HWRC Bookings section on the app. The OurHants app will delete each record of a booking in the app at 12.00 midnight following the booking.

Uninstalling OurHants will delete all locally cached information on the device. Any HWRC bookings will be retained by the HRWC system as detailed in Household Waste Recycling Centre booking system privacy notice.

The legal basis for our use of this information is public task: where it is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest in the exercise of official authority vested in the County Council.

Google Pay Store and Apple App Store will share anonymised data with HCC to show app download and usage analytics.
