Local Nature Recovery Strategy
Privacy Notice
Defra has appointed Hampshire County Council as the Responsible Authority for producing the Local Nature Recovery Strategy for Hampshire, including Southampton and Portsmouth. The Strategy is a key mechanism for planning and delivering the National Nature Recovery Network and will be evidence-based, locally led and collaborative, to create a network of shared plans that public, private and voluntary sectors can all help to deliver.
Hampshire County Council will need to collect contact details for relevant organisations and/or individuals in order to create the Local Nature Recovery Strategy. We will use this information to contact you about relevant workshops and events that will help us map the most valuable areas for wildlife, identify opportunities to improve nature in the future and understand local priorities. If you provide us with your email address, we will keep you informed with progress.
The Local Nature Recovery Strategy is due to be reviewed after a set number of years to be determined by Defra. We will keep your personal information for the period until this review is complete.
