Mark Trudgeon

I left a local consultancy to move to Hampshire County Council in 1995, initially on secondment and subsequently as a permanent employee from 1997, working as an Electrical Design Engineer. I later progressed to the role of Team Leader within Property Operations, where I led a multidisciplinary team delivering a wide range of professional services. These included property data management, updating CAD record drawings, providing fire safety and other professional advice, and undertaking surveys for a broad range of internal and external clients.

I am currently working as a Senior Electrical Design Engineer. The breadth and variety of work we deal with on a day-to-day basis is extensive, which makes my role both challenging and highly rewarding. I take great pride in making a positive contribution to the community in which I live and find it particularly fulfilling to support and serve the people of Hampshire. My role involves daily collaboration with colleagues from a wide range of professional disciplines, and my early training in electrical engineering has provided the strong foundation of skills and knowledge that I continue to apply every day.
