Whether a modular building is required to meet the demand for a new school or office space or for temporary use in the case of an emergency, this framework is available to any public authority such as local government, health trusts, police and fire services.
The SMBF allows access to expertise both in the framework team, which has over 150 years of construction experience, and the 11 modular contractors. The installation of the modular units in Hampshire can also be project managed by the in-house team of surveyors in Hampshire County Council’s Property Service who have delivered over 100 projects for internal and external clients over the last ten years.
Regional Framework Manager Keith Heard has led on regional procurement and joint working initiatives for the last ten years. Working alongside him in the team are Framework Managers Mark Thomas and Alex Neall who help client authorities select the optimum contractor for their project in the most efficient way, with database technical support provided by Tim Moss.
The longevity of this team, together with their combined experience, capacity and skills ensures clients receive good advice in helping to deliver their construction projects.
