The latest apprentices to be welcomed to our award-winning Property Services team, Harry Hollingshead and Harry House are leading the way as the first Estates Degree Apprentices to join our Estates Management team.
Whilst working for Property Services and gaining practical experience, Harry and Harry will also undertake a degree in Real Estate at the University of Portsmouth, with the opportunity to qualify as a Chartered Surveyor after five years.
Our Estates Degree Apprentices follow in the steps, and success, of our Building Surveyor Apprentices, Joshua and Daniel. Both joined the team at the end of 2017 and were acknowledged at the Hampshire Apprenticeship Awards in 2018, with Joshua winning Higher Apprentice of the Year, and Daniel Highly Commended. This success for our apprenticeship scheme continued in 2019 at the Chairman’s Apprenticeship Awards where Sam Winterburn, Trainee Building Surveyor, was recognised for his nomination for Higher Apprentice of the Year.
Our Degree Apprenticeship programme goes from strength to strength, and the reason for its success? Well, Harry and Harry say it best:
“The apprenticeship has offered the perfect opportunity to achieve a qualification with on the job training… The welcome I received from day one from my colleagues has confirmed to me that I made the right choice in wanting to start my career within Property Services.” Harry House
“A career in property excites me as you are given the opportunity to be involved in so many different things, and once you are qualified you then have the flexibility to do what you love! The thing that I enjoy most is being able to work and learn within such an experienced team.” Harry Hollingshead
