3rd Assistant Director
This is a limited pilot Skills Bootcamp for the role of 3rd Assistant Director.
This Skills Bootcamp is the perfect opportunity for those with some experience as a Set PA or Runner who are ready to take the next step and move into the exciting world of Assistant Director. This training programme provides an in-depth introduction to the vital role of a 3rd Assistant Director, giving you the skills and confidence to take on leadership responsibilities.
The course covers the key aspects of what they need to know including
- key regulations
- communications on set
- working with Supporting Artists
- sustainable production
- managing a freelance career
Duration
Two weeks (Full-time, in-person training)
Style of learning
Classroom-based at Farnborough International Studios
Eligibility
12 months industry experience, preferably but not essential.
