To receive the report of the County Education Officer on the changes and developments that have taken place with regard to South Central Connexions services.

7. SCHOOL ORGANISATION PLAN 2003/04 - 2007/08 OUTCOME OF CONSULTATION (Report herewith)

To consider the report of the County Education Officer recommending that the Executive Member for Education should approve the School Organisation Plan 2003/04 - 2007/08 (2004 Update), as amended following consultation with schools and other interested parties. (Please Note: copies of the draft SOP were sent to all County Councillors and other Members of the PRC on 30 August 2004. To consider the report of the County Education Officer about the background and conduct of Local Area Reviews undertaken by Hampshire and the Isle of Wight Learning and Skills Council (LSC) in Hampshire.

10. BUDGET MONITORING 2004/05 (Report herewith)

To consider the report of the County Treasurer and County Education Officer on budget monitoring 2004/05.

11. MODERNISATION OF THE TEACHERS' PENSION SCHEME (TPS)

To consider the report of the County Education Officer and County Treasurer on the County Council's proposed response to the DfES on their Consultation Paper, "Modernisation of the Teachers' Pension Scheme (TPS)".
