1 APPOINTMENT OF CHAIRMAN

    The Terms of Reference indicate that the Chairman shall be appointed from Hampshire County Council.

2 APPOINTMENT OF VICE-CHAIRMAN

    The Terms of Reference indicate that the Vice-Chairman shall be appointed from either Fareham or Gosport Borough Councils.

3 DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST

All Members who believe they have a personal or a personal prejudicial interest in any

matter to be considered at the meeting must declare their personal interest and having

regard to the circumstances described in paragraphs 9, 10, 11 and 12 of the County

Council's Code of Conduct, consider whether to leave the meeting whilst the matter is

discussed. The declaration should be made at the time of the relevant debate.

To receive the minutes of the Light Rapid Transit Development Panel held on

21 April 2004 for information.

8 LOCAL TRANSPORT PLAN/SOUTH EAST PLAN

To consider an oral report of the Director of Environment advising Members on the

current position with the Local Transport Plan and the Regional Plan.

9 SCHEME UPDATE

To consider an oral report of the Director of Environment on progress with the

implementation of schemes in the County Council's 2004/05 Capital Programme.

10 SOUTH HAMPSHIRE RAPID TRANSIT UPDATE

To consider an oral report of the Director of Environment on the current position

with regard to Light Rapid Transit.

11 DEVELOPMENT OF GOSPORT PENINSULA ACCESS STRATEGY

To consider an oral report of the Director of Environment on key issues for the

Peninsula and objectives for future transport strategy work.

12 WORK PROGRAMME

To consider an oral report of the Director of Environment on the future work of this

Panel.
