To receive an oral report by the Director of Environment informing Members about guidance received from Central Government on preparing the Local Transport Plan and how funding is likely to be allocated.
7. LOCAL TRANSPORT PLAN UPDATE (Report herewith)
To consider the report of the Director of Environment seeking Members' endorsement of the proposed policy and programme direction for the New Forest strategy area.
8. TRANSPORT CAPITAL PROGRAMME 2005/06 (Report herewith)
To consider the report of the Director of Environment appraising Members of the proposed 2005/06 capital programme presented to the Executive Member for the Environment on 21 January 2005.
9. LOCAL TRANSPORT PLAN CAPITAL PROGRAMME - PRIORITISATION OF SCHEMES (Report herewith)
To consider the report of the Director of Environment setting out a proposed methodology for the assessment and prioritisation of schemes within the next Local Transport Plan.

To consider the report of the Director of Environment outlining the progress on recent transport projects in the New Forest area.
11. NEW FOREST DISTRICT COUNCIL: DECRIMINALISATION OF ON-STREET PARKING ENFORCEMENT (Report herewith)
To consider the report of the Director of Environment setting out the joint proposals to implement a special parking area covering the New Forest district.
12. NEW FOREST NATIONAL PARK AUTHORITY - OPPORTUNITIES FOR PARTNERSHIP WORKING
To consider the report of the Head of Policy, Design and Information (New Forest District Council) outlining the opportunities for partnership working with the New Forest National Park Authority on transport related issues that impact on the New Forest National Park and adjacent areas.

It is proposed to hold meetings of the Solent Transport Strategy Panel on the following dates:-
Thursday 24 March 2005 at 9.30 a.m.;
Thursday 9 June 2005 at 9.30 a.m.;
Thursday 27 October 2005 at 9.30 a.m.
