To consider the report of the Director of Environment outlining progress with schemes in the Transport Capital Programme for 2004/05 and 2005/06.
6. HIGHWAY MAINTENANCE AND MINOR CAPITAL WORKS PROGRAMMES 2004/05 AND 2005/06 (Report herewith)
To consider the report of the Director of Environment outlining progress with regard to the 2004/05 Highway Maintenance and Minor Capital Works Programmes, proposals for future programmes and details of the 2005/06 Highway Maintenance Budget and Programme.
7. WEEDKILLING IN BASINGSTOKE (Report herewith)
To consider a report of the Director of Environment informing the Panel of the intention to retain weedkilling in the County Council's Highway Term Maintenance Contract during 2005/06 and 2006/07.
8. TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT PROGRAMMES (Report herewith)
To consider a report of the Director of Environment on the main programmes of traffic management work completed and in progress in the Basingstoke area.

To consider a report of the Director of Environment outlining progress on the Hampshire County Council and Hampshire and Isle of Wight Safety Camera Partnership casualty reduction programmes.
10. TRAVEL PLAN PROGRAMMES (Report herewith)
To consider a report of the Director of Environment providing a progress update on the workplace, school and personalised travel planning programmes for the Basingstoke area. It also includes an update on the Safer Routes to Schools programme.
11. OTHER HIGHWAY RELATED PROGRAMMES (Report herewith)
To consider a report of the Director of Environment detailing the programmes for Intelligent Transport Systems, Bridgeworks, Development Related Works, Recreational Cycling, and Street Lighting.
12. PASSENGER TRANSPORT (Report herewith)
To consider a report of the Director of Environment setting out progress on the Bus Quality Partnership for routes 1 and 6, the proposal to incorporate route 3 and the position on the tendered bus network.
13. CHINEHAM RAILWAY STATION
To consider the report of the Director of Environment outlining the current situation regarding the project to open a new railway station at Chineham, on the Basingstoke-Reading line.

The next meeting of the Panel will be held on Wednesday 9 November 2005 at
10.00am at Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council.
