To receive a report from Councillor Ludlow, Chairman of the Panel. It is hoped that the final report of the Panel may be available in time for the Committee's meeting, but it is unlikely to appear until 11 April.

RECOMMENDATION:

That, by virtue of paragraphs 8 and 9 of Part I of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972, the press and public be excluded from the meeting during consideration of Item 14 below.

14. WASTE MANAGEMENT - ALTON MATERIALS RECOVERY FACILITY (CONFIDENTIAL) (Report herewith)

To consider the confidential report of the Director of Environment on capacity and funding issues relating to the Alton Materials Recovery Facility.
