To consider the report of the Director of Social Services in response to the specific concerns raised by the Committee at the last meeting.

8 SICKNESS ABSENCE WHILST SUSPENDED FOR ALLEGED GROSS MISCONDUCT (Report herewith)

To consider the report of the Director of Human Resources as requested by the Committee at their last meeting.

9 ANNUAL INTERNAL AUDIT OPINION (Report herewith)

To consider the report of the County Treasurer providing an independent opinion on the adequacy and effectiveness of the system of internal control operating in each department and in the County Council as a whole.

10 EXCLUSION OF PRESS AND PUBLIC

That, by virtue of paragraph 14 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972, the press and public be excluded from the meeting during consideration of the following item.

11 ANNUAL INTERNAL AUDIT OPINION (Report herewith)

To consider the confidential Appendix D to the County Treasurers report arising from item 9 above.
