1. DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST


    All Members who believe they have a personal or a personal prejudicial interest in any matter to be considered at the meeting must declare their personal interest and having regard to the circumstances described in paragraphs 9, 10, 11 and 12 of the County Council's Code of Conduct, consider whether to leave the meeting whilst the matter is discussed. The declaration should be made at the time of the relevant debate.

5. THE HAMPSHIRE LOCAL AREA AGREEMENT

    To consider a report of the Chief Executive seeking Cabinet's approval, on behalf of the County Council, of the outcomes and priority areas for Hampshire's Local Area Agreement as set out in the attached consultation draft document.

6. DIRECTION OF TRAVEL SELF-ASSESSMENT APPROACH

To consider a report of the Chief Executive outlining the requirement for the County Council to submit a `direction of travel' self-assessment as part of the tougher Comprehensive Performance Assessment (CPA) regime.

7. REVIEW OF THE REGIONAL ECONOMIC STRATEGY

    To consider a report of the Director of Environment and the Chief Executive detailing the background to, and a proposed response to the Review of the Regional Economic Strategy.

8. 2005/06 BUDGET MONITORING

    To consider a monitoring report of the County Treasurer for the 2005/06 budget reviewing corporate issues arising from the service budget monitoring reports to Executive Members and other developments affecting the County Council's short and medium term financial planning.

9. CONSULTATION ON PROPOSED GOVERNMENT CHANGES

    To consider a report of the County Treasurer which details, in three sections, a number of consultation papers issued by the Government on proposed changes to the formula grant distribution, school funding, and the Local Transport Plan financial allocations.

NB: The Cabinet has extended an invitation to Members of the Youth Parliament to attend the meeting to observe the proceedings and meet the Cabinet Members
