6. PROGRESS UPDATE ON SCHEMES IN THE CAPITAL PROGRAMMES (Report herewith)

    To consider a report of the Director of Environment providing a progress update on transport schemes within the 2005/06 Capital Programme as approved by the Executive Member for Environment : South Hampshire and Resource Management on 13 September 2005.

7. UPDATE ON HIGHWAY AND MINOR WORKS PROGRAMME 2005/06

                    (Report herewith)

    To consider a report of the Director of Environment outlining progress with regard to the 2005/06 Highway Maintenance and Minor Capital Works Programmes and providing an update on the 2005/06 Highway Maintenance Budget.

8. PASSENGER TRANSPORT (Report herewith)

To consider a report of the Director of Environment detailing the position on local bus service support this year, describing the evolving Passenger Transport Strategy for the future and providing an update on four Quality Bus Partnership (QSP) Schemes.

9. EASTLEIGH TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT (Report herewith)

    To consider a report of the Head of Engineering at Eastleigh Borough Council updating Members on progress made and new issues arising since the last report to the Panel in March 2005.

10. CASUALTY REDUCTION PROGRAMME (Report herewith)

    To consider a report of the Director of Environment outlining progress on the Hampshire County Council and Hampshire and Isle of Wight Safety Camera Partnership casualty reduction programmes for 2005/06, together with the road casualty reduction progress in Hampshire against the Government's targets.

11. TRAVEL PLAN PROGRAMMES (Report herewith)

To consider a report of the Director of Environment providing a progress update on the workplace and school travel planning programmes in the Eastleigh area, together with information on a recently completed county-wide personalised travel planning project. It also includes an update on the Safer Routes to Schools programme for schemes within the Eastleigh area.

12. OTHER HIGHWAY RELATED PROGRAMMES (Report herewith)

To consider a report of the Director of Environment detailing the programmes for Street Lighting, Hampshire Villages Initiative, Bridgeworks, Intelligent Transport Systems and Development Related Works.

13. DATE, TIME AND VENUE FOR THE NEXT MEETING OF THE PANEL

The next meeting of Eastleigh Highway and Transport Advisory Panel will be held on Friday 10 March 2006 at 10.00am at Eastleigh Borough Council.
