1. DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST

All members who believe that they have a personal or personal prejudicial interest in any matter to be considered at the meeting must declare their personal interest and having regard to the circumstances described in paragraphs 9,10,11 and 12 of the County Council's Code of Conduct, consider whether to leave the meeting whilst the matter is being discussed.     To consider the report of the Director of Children's Services regarding the recent National SACRE Conference held in Bradford.

6. OFSTED FINDINGS ON RE IN HAMPSHIRE SCHOOLS 2004/05

    To consider the report of the Director of Children's Services detailing the findings of Ofsted inspections in relation to RE in Hampshire Schools.

7. GCSE RESULTS 2005

    To consider the report of the Director of Children's Services regarding this year's GCSE results from the long and short RE courses.

8. SACRE SELF EVALUATION SUB-GROUP REPORT

    To consider the report of the Director of Children's Services detailing the recent findings, activities and recommendations of the self evaluation sub-group.

9. DFES INCENTIVES TO RECRUIT NEW RE TEACHERS

    To consider the report of the Director of Children's Services regarding a new initiative by the DfES to increase recruitment of secondary RE teachers.

10. SACRE ANNUAL REPORT

    To consider the report of the Director of Children's Services summarising the activities of Hampshire SACRE during the year 2004/05.

11. YOUTH INTER-FAITH FORUM

    To consider the report of the Director of Children's Services providing an update on the progress made toward establishing a young people's inter-faith forum.

12. DATE OF NEXT MEETING

    To note that the next meeting will be held at 2.00pm on Tuesday 28 February 2006.
