6 ALTERNATIVES TO THE SUPERVISION CHARGE

To consider the report of the Chairman of the River Hamble Harbour Management Committee, following further consideration of this item by the Committee at its meeting on 6 December. The Board's decision was called in for review, and the report will not be available until the outcome of the Committee's reconsideration is known. As the report is likely to be tabled at the meeting, the following documents are attached for reference:

      (a) The Minute of the decision reached by the River Hamble Harbour Board on 21 October 2005.

      (b) The Minute of the River Hamble Harbour Management Committee on 10 October relating to this item.

      (c) The original report of the Director of Environment.

      (d) The draft Minutes of the River Hamble Harbour Management Committee's meeting on 6 December 2005.

7 HARBOUR MASTER'S REPORT

To consider a report of the Director of Environment summarising activities and events on the river since the Board's last meeting.

8 RIVER HAMBLE SERVICE DELIVERY PLAN 2006/07

To consider a report of the Director of Environment setting out a plan recommended for approval by the Board.

9 PLANNING AND CONSENTS

To consider the report of the Director of Environment concerning a consent/planning application submitted by the Royal Southern Yacht Club in relation to the refurbishment of their marina.

10 REPLACEMENT OF THE HARBOUR MASTER'S JETTY AT WARSASH

To consider the report of the Director of Environment on progress with the project to replace the Harbour Master's jetty with associated works and dredging.

11 A VISITOR STRATEGY FOR THE RIVER HAMBLE

To consider the report of the Director of Environment on the provision of facilities for visitors to the River and setting out a strategy proposed for adoption by the Board.

12 MARINE DIRECTOR'S CURRENT ISSUES

To consider the report of the Director of Environment highlighting a number of current issues on the River Hamble.

13 RIVER HAMBLE BUDGET REPORT - REVISED 2005/06 BUDGET AND FORWARD 2006/07 BUDGET

To consider the report of the County Treasurer and Director of Environment setting out the draft revised budget for the current year, the draft forward budget for 2006/07 and revised charges for 2007.

14 ITEMS FOR INCLUSION ON FUTURE MEETINGS

To consider the report of the Chief Executive and Director of Environment setting out the future programme of items for Board meetings.

15 DATES OF FUTURE MEETINGS

To note the dates for future meetings of the Board in 2007 as follows:-

Wednesday, 11 January - 10 a.m. - Sarisbury Green

Wednesday, 3 May - 2 p.m. - Warsash Sailing Club

Monday, 3 July - 10 a.m. - Royal Southern Yacht Club

Wednesday, 15 November - 10 a.m. - venue to be settled.
