2. DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST
All Members who believe they have a personal or a personal prejudicial interest in any matter to be considered at the meeting must declare their personal interest and having regard to the circumstances described in paragraphs 9, 10, 11 and 12 of the County Council's Code of Conduct, consider whether to leave the meeting whilst the matter is discussed. The declaration should be made at the time of the relevant debate.

To receive any communications the Chairman may wish to make.
5. DEPUTATIONS
To receive any deputations notified under Standing Order 21.
6. APPOINTMENT OF INDEPENDENT MEMBERS
To consider the report of the Head of Corporate and Legal Services and Monitoring Officer and to make recommendations to the County Council on the appointment of Independent Members to serve on the County Council's Standards Committee and the Independent Remuneration Panel, following interviews held in December 2005.
7. STANDARDS OF CONDUCT IN LOCAL GOVERNMENT -
DISCUSSION PAPER
To consider the report of the Head of Corporate and Legal Services and Monitoring Officer on the Discussion Paper recently issued by the Office of Deputy Prime Minister relating to conduct of members, employees and the respective roles of the local Standards Committee and the Standards Board for England.
8. TRAINING OF MEMBERS
To note that a training event on standards and the Code of Conduct for members is being held in March 2006, which all members are encouraged to attend. A training DVD has also been produced by the Standards Board for England and will be shown at the Committee's meeting if time and attendance permit.
