2. DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST

    All members who believe that they have a personal or personal prejudicial interest in any matter to be considered at the meeting must declare their personal interest and having regard to the circumstances described in paragraphs 9,10,11 and 12 of the County Council's Code of Conduct, consider whether to leave the meeting whilst the matter is being discussed. The declaration should normally be made at the time of the relevant debate.

6. COUNTY YOUTH OFFICER'S REPORT

    To consider a report of the Director of Children's Services summarising recent developments in the service and providing updates of current activities and initiatives.

7. PARTICIPATION

    To consider a report of the Director of Children's Services providing an overview of Hampshire County Youth Service's role in the support, facilitation and development of young people's active participation.

8. ANNUAL REVENUE GRANTS 2006/2007

    To consider a report of the County Education Officer providing details of the annual revenue grants to voluntary youth organisations.

9. PROJECT DEVELOPMENT GRANTS 2005/06

    To consider a report of the Director of Children's Services identifying those youth organisations which have applied for project development grants since the last meeting of the Panel on Thursday 10 November 2005.

10. DATE OF NEXT MEETING

    To note that the next meeting of the Youth Panel will take place on Thursday 16 June 2006.

County Councillors attending as appointed members of this panel or by virtue of Standing Order 17.5; or with the concurrence of the Chairman in connection with their duties as members of the Council or as a local County Councillor qualify for travelling expenses.

Independent Members similarly qualify for payment of travelling expenses.
