5. STANDARDS OF CONDUCT IN ENGLISH LOCAL GOVERNMENT - THE FUTURE GOVERNMENT DISCUSSION PAPER

To consider the report of the Clerk about proposals contained within the Government's Discussion Paper : `Standards of Conduct in English Local Government : The Future' and recommends that the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister implements these as quickly as possible.

6. CODE OF CONDUCT - MEMBERS' TRAINING

To receive an oral report by the Clerk on the Member training in the Code of Conduct given earlier this month here at The Castle, Winchester.

7. STANDARDS BOARD FOR ENGLAND - GOING LOCAL INVESTIGATION AND HEARINGS

To watch a DVD produced by the Standards Board for England as a training aid for local authorities. It uses a dramatised scenario to illustrate a local investigation and hearing and highlights some of the challenges that may arise. (About 30 minutes in length)
