1. ARTS STRATEGY 2006 - 2011
To consider the report of the Director of Recreation and Heritage seeking approval to the draft Arts Strategy for the next five years.
As this report is also due to be considered by the Recreation and Heritage Policy Review Committee during the morning of 23 March, it is not circulated again. Please could you bring your copy with you to the Decision Day meeting.
2. FINANCE PERFORMANCE MONITORING 2005/06
To consider the report of the Director of Recreation and Heritage and County Treasurer on the monitoring of the budget for the current year and on proposed allocations for the capital programme for the years 2005/06 and 2006/07.
3. PUBLIC SERVICE BOARD FOR CULTURE
To consider the report of the Director of Recreation and Heritage on the proposed establishment of such a Board on a partnership basis between the County Council, Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council and Arts Council England, South East.
4. ARTS DEVELOPMENT PARTNERSHIP FUNDING 2006/07
To consider the report of the Director of Recreation and Heritage seeking approval for grants towards various arts-related events.
5. DANCE BURSARIES
To consider the report of the Director of Recreation and Heritage on the future of the Dance Bursary Scheme.
6. PARTNERSHIP FUNDING FOR VOLUNTARY BODIES AND OTHER ORGANISATIONS 2005/06 - COUNTRYSIDE SERVICE
To consider the report of the Director of Recreation and Heritage seeking approval for grants to be allocated to Hampshire Conservation Volunteers; Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust; Marwell Zoo; Butterfly Conservation; and the British Trust for Conservation Volunteers.
7. PARTNERSHIP FUNDING TO INDEPENDENT OUTDOOR CENTRES - 2006/07
To consider the report of the Director of Recreation and Heritage seeking approval for the allocation of grants to outdoor centres and organisations as follows:
· Avon Tyrell Outdoor Centre, Ringwood;
· Countryside Education Trust, Beaulieu;
· Privett Centre, Privett;
· Queen Elizabeth II Silver Jubilee Centre, Bursledon
· British Red Cross, Hampshire Branch;
· The Gilbert White Field Study Centre, Selborne
8. PARTNERSHIP FUNDING FOR VOLUNTARY BODIES AND OTHER ORGANISATIONS 2005/06 AND 2006/07 - SPORT AND PHYSICAL RECREATION
