6. EXCLUSION OF THE PRESS AND PUBLIC

RECOMMENDATION:

That the public be excluded from the meeting as it is likely, in view of the nature of the business to be transacted or the nature of the proceedings, that if members of the public were present during Items 7, 8 and 9 there would be disclosure to them of confidential or exempt information within Paragraphs 1 and 3 respectively of Part 1 of Schedule 12A to the Local Government Act 1972, and further that, in all the circumstances, the public interest in maintaining the exemption outweighs the public interest in disclosing:

- information relating to the financial or business affairs of any particular person (including the County Council as holder of that information) in Items 7 and 8.

- the confidential personal information in Item 9;

To consider further those confidential pensions issues identified at the previous meeting of the Committee. The Actuary will report.

To receive the confidential report of the Director of Human Resources.
