1. APPOINTMENT OF CHAIRMAN

To appoint a Chairman for the meeting.

2. EXCLUSION OF THE PRESS AND PUBLIC

To resolve that the public be excluded from the meeting during the following item of business, as it is likely, in view of the nature of the business to be transacted or the nature of the proceedings, that if members of the public were present during that item, confidential information would be disclosed to them in breach of the duty of confidence.

3. APPEAL AGAINST DISMISSAL (Reports herewith)

To consider the appeal submitted by a member of staff against the decision to dismiss. A note on the procedure to be followed is enclosed. The evidence submitted is as follows:

a) The Management Case (blue paper)

b) The Appellant's Case (salmon paper)
