To consider the report of the Director of Children's Services providing an overview of the performance of primary and secondary schools in Hampshire in terms of outcomes for children in national tests and examinations.
7. OFSTED INSPECTIONS REPORT
To consider the report of the Director of Children's Services summarising the outcomes of Ofsted inspections of schools which took place during the Spring Term 2006 and outlining some changes to the inspection arrangements for the most successful schools.

16. EXCLUSION OF THE PRESS AND PUBLIC
RECOMMENDATION:
That in relation to items 17, 18, 19 and 20 the public be excluded from the meeting as it is likely, in view of the nature of the business to be transacted or the nature of the proceedings, that if members of the public were present during the items there would be disclosure to them of exempt information within Paragraphs 1, 2 and 3 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A to the Local Government Act 1972 and, further, that in all the circumstances of the case the public interest in maintaining the exemption outweighs the public interest in disclosing the information for the reasons set out in the report.

To consider the exempt report of the Director of Children's Services detailing progress with this School since being served with a notice to improve following an Ofsted inspection in December 2005.
19. APPLEMORE COLLEGE, DIBDEN PURLIEU, SOUTHAMPTON - REQUIRING SIGNIFICANT IMPROVEMENT
To consider the exempt report of the Director of Children's Services detailing progress with this School since being judged to require significant improvement in October 2005.

To consider the exempt report of the Director of Children's Services detailing progress with this School.
