To consider a report of the County Treasurer outlining the provisional budget guidelines for 2007/08.
8. PROPROSAL FOR A JOINT COUNCIL TAX LEAFLET WITH OTHER HAMPSHIRE AUTHORITIES
To consider a report of the County Treasurer and Chief Executive seeking the Cabinet's view on the development of a joint council tax leaflet with other authorities in Hampshire.
9. LOCAL GOVERNMENT PENSION SCHEME (LGPS): NEW LOOK LGPS
To consider a report of the County Treasurer seeking the Cabinet's views on the Government's consultation on options for a new look Local Government Pension Scheme with effect from April 2008.
10. ANNUAL SUSTAINABILITY REPORT
To consider a report of the Director of Environment (deferred from 24 July meeting) seeking a number of decisions as a result of monitoring the County Council's sustainability performance during 2005/06.
11. KATE BARKER REVIEW - INTERIM REPORT
To consider a report of the Director of Environment summarising Kate Barker's interim report on the review of the planning system in England and setting out the County Council's response to it.
12. A PRECIS OF THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH'S `GUIDANCE ON THE STATUTORY CHIEF OFFICER POST OF ADULT SERVICES' AND THE SUPPORTING BEST PRACTICE GUIDANCE, MAY 2006
To consider a report of the Director of Adult Services summarising the Department of Health's guidance, as detailed above, and seeking the Cabinet's agreement to nominate the existing Cabinet Member for Adult Social Care as the lead member for Adult Social Services.
