To consider the report of the Director of Environment on the outcome of tendering, and consequent reconfiguration of bus and other public transport services, in the Havant area.

3. HOUSEHOLD WASTE RECYCLING CENTRES BUSINESS CASE - CONTRACT RE-TENDER

To consider the report of the Director of Environment on suggested means of controlling the deposit of trade waste at household waste recycling centres from April 2007 and on the revised specification for household waste recycling centre contracts to operate from 2008 onwards.

4. RESULT OF CONSULTATION ON THE HAMPSHIRE MINERALS AND WASTE DEVELOPMENT FRAMEWORK - CORE PLANNING STRATEGY AND THE WAY FORWARD FOR THE PUBLIC EXAMINATION

To consider the report of the Director of Environment on the suggested approach for presentation of the County Council's case at the forthcoming public examination.

5. PROJECT APPRAISAL : COUNTRY TOWNS INITIATIVE - TITCHFIELD

To consider the report of the Director of Environment, and attached project appraisal, on environment and highways improvements in Titchfield Square and adjacent areas.

6. PROJECT APPRAISAL : PORTCHESTER COMMUNITY SCHOOL AND CASTLE PRIMARY SCHOOL - SAFER ROUTES TO SCHOOL

To consider the report of the Director of Environment, and attached project appraisal, on schemes to improve safety in the Castle Street and White Hart Lane areas adjacent to the two local schools.

7. PROJECT APPRAISAL : EMSWORTH ACCESSIBILITY

To consider the report of the Director of Environment, and attached project appraisal, on a range of pedestrian and cycle accessibility improvements in the centre of Emsworth.

8. PROJECT APPRAISAL : A326 DIBDEN PURLIEU - PEGASUS CROSSING

To consider the report of the Director of Environment, and attached project appraisal, on the proposed installation of a Pegasus signal-controlled crossing on the A326 Hythe Bypass north of the Heath Roundabout, to facilitate safe crossing of this busy road by people on foot and on horseback, and thereby to improve accessibility from Dibden and Hythe to the New Forest.

9. PROJECT APPRAISAL : BASINGSTOKE INTELLIGENT TRANSPORT SYSTEMS

To consider the report of the Director of Environment, and attached project appraisal, on the installation of close circuit television cameras and traffic information variable message signs in order to monitor traffic flows on the road network in central Basingstoke and thereby make best use of existing highway capacity.
