1. BUDGET MONITORING 2006/07 - CHILDREN'S SERVICES DEPARTMENT

To consider the report of the County Treasurer and Director of Children's Services on budget monitoring for 2006/07.

2. CHANGES TO THE SCHEME FOR FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT OF SCHOOLS

To consider the report of the County Treasurer and the Director of Children's Services about proposed amendments to the scheme for Financial Management of Schools as the basis for consultation with all schools.

3. CHILDREN'S SERVICES CAPITAL PROGRAMME ISSUES

To consider the report of the Director of Children's Services and County Treasurer on proposed changes to the Children's Services Capital Programme for 2006/07.

4. REVIEW OF EDUCATION PROVISION FOR DEAF AND HEARING IMPAIRED CHILDREN

To consider the report of the Director of Children's Services about the County Council's strategic development of services and provision for deaf and hearing impaired children.

5. STAGE 2 OF THE CHILD AND ADOLESCENT MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES (CAMHS) CHILDREN'S TRUST PARTNERSHIP

To consider the report of the Director of Children's Services on further developments in relation to the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services.

6. FUNCTION AND MANAGEMENT OF FAMILY GROUP CONFERENCES

To consider the report of the Director of Children's Services about the revised specification and new management and staffing arrangements for the Family Group Conference Service.

7. EXCLUSION OF PRESS AND PUBLIC

RECOMMENDATION:

That in relation to item 8, the public be excluded from the meeting, as it is likely, in view of the nature of the business to be transacted or the nature of the proceedings, that if members of the public were present during that item there would be disclosure to them of exempt information within Paragraph 3 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972, and further that, in all the circumstances of the case, the public interest in maintaining the exemption outweighs the public interest in disclosing the information, for the reasons set out in the report.

8. RESIDENTIAL CARE REVIEW

To consider the exempt report of the Director of Children's Services about a residential care review.
