All Members who believe they have a personal or a personal prejudicial interest in any matter to be considered at the meeting must declare their personal interest and having regard to the circumstances described in paragraphs 9,10,11 and 12 of the County Council's Code of Conduct, consider whether to leave the meeting whilst the matter is discussed. The declaration should be made at the time of the relevant debate.

6 FLEXIBLE RETIREMENT POLICY FOR NON TEACHING STAFF

To consider the report of the County Treasurer and Director of Human Resources recommending a policy for adoption by the Committee in relation to flexible retirement.

7. EARLY RETIREMENT POLICIES FOR NON TEACHING STAFF

To consider the report of the County Treasurer and Director of Human Resources on events nationally since the Committee considered this matter in September and to agree that the policy adopted at the September meeting remain in place until amending legislation is available.

8. EXCLUSION OF THE PRESS AND PUBLIC

RECOMMENDATION:

That the public be excluded from the meeting as it is likely, in view of the nature of the business to be transacted or the nature of the proceedings, that if members of the public were present during Item 9 there would be disclosure to them of exempt information within Paragraph 3 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A to the Local Government Act 1972, and further that, in all the circumstances, the public interest in maintaining the exemption outweighs the public interest in disclosing information relating to the financial or business affairs of any particular person (including the County Council as holder of that information) in Item 9 for the reasons set out in the report.

9. REVIEW OF SENIOR MANAGEMENT PAY (Report to follow)

To consider the confidential report of the Chief Executive pursuant to minute 55 of the previous meeting.
