A. KEY DECISIONS

1. SOUTH WINCHESTER PARK AND RIDE - PROJECT REVIEW AND SITE SELECTION

To consider the report of the Director of Environment on the outcome of consultations on the proposed Park and Ride car park on the Itchen Farm site (also known as the former Tarmac site) between the M3 junction 11 link road and Otterbourne Road.

2. REVENUE BUDGET MONITORING 2006/07

To consider the report of the County Treasurer and Director of Environment on current budgetary issues and on action being taken to manage the budget within the cash limit.

3. PROJECT APPRAISAL : TIMBERLAKE ROAD, BASINGSTOKE - SUBWAY ENHANCEMENT

To consider the report of the Director of Environment, together with a project appraisal, on the scheme to improve the existing pedestrian subway at Timberlake Road, Basingstoke through enhanced access, visibility and lighting.

4. PROJECT APPRAISAL : NORTH CAMP PHASE II, TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT SCHEME - FARNBOROUGH

To consider the report of the Director of Environment, together with project appraisal, on a further scheme of traffic management measures on roads in the North Camp area of Farnborough, to include pedestrian crossing facilities and measures to reduce traffic speeds.

5. PROJECT APPRAISAL : PULENS LANE TO TOR WAY, PETERSFIELD - CYCLE TRACK

To consider the report of the Director of Environment, together with project appraisal, on the scheme for a new off-road shared use cycle route between Tor Way and Pulens Way, Petersfield, to run for the most part along Riverside Walk.

6. PROJECT APPRAISAL : ALTON TOWN CENTRE ACCESSIBILITY

To consider the report of the Director of Environment, together with project appraisal, on a scheme to facilitate improved pedestrian and vehicle access and safety at several sites in central Alton.

7. PROJECT APPRAISAL : HYTHE TOWN CENTRE ACCESSIBILITY

To consider the report of the Director of Environment, together with project appraisal, on the scheme for access and improved pedestrian facilities at St John's Street, High Street and The Promenade in Hythe.

8. PROJECT APPRAISAL : ST MARGARET'S LANE, TITCHFIELD - TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT

To consider the report of the Director of Environment, together with project appraisal, on the scheme for traffic management and improvements to pedestrian facilities at various points along St Margaret's Lane, Titchfield.

9. PROJECT APPRAISAL: A27 DELME ROUNDABOUT, FAREHAM - TOUCAN CROSSING

To consider the report of the Director of Environment, together with project appraisal, on the proposed construction of a toucan crossing on the westbound on-slip road at the Delme Arms Roundabout, Fareham in order to improve safety for pedestrians and cyclists.

10. PROJECT APPRAISAL : REGENERATION OF OLDER URBAN AREAS - TOWN QUAY, FAREHAM (LOWER QUAY) - ENVIRONMENTAL IMPROVEMENTS

To consider the report of the Director of Environment, together with project appraisal, on a scheme of improvements at Lower Quay to include paving and lighting which will enhance the heritage of the conservation area.

11. EXCLUSION OF THE PRESS AND PUBLIC

RECOMMENDATION:

That the public be excluded from the meeting during the following, as it is likely, in view of the nature of the business to be transacted or the nature of the proceedings, that if members of the public were present during that item there would be disclosure to them of exempt information within Paragraph 3 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972, and further that in all the circumstances of the case, the public interest in maintaining the exemption outweighs the public interest in disclosing information relating to the financial or business affairs of any particular person (including the County Council as holder of that information) in Item 12 for the reasons set out in the report.

12. HYTHE FERRY (CONFIDENTIAL)

To consider the exempt report of the Director of Environment relating to the costs of repairs to the pontoon at Town Quay Southampton.
