1. INTRODUCTION OF A REVISED CODE OF CONDUCT FOR THE ISSUING OF PENALTY NOTICES IN RESPECT OF UNAUTHORISED ABSENCE FROM SCHOOL

    To consider the report of the Director of Children's Services seeking approval to a revised Code of Conduct for the Issuing of Penalty Notices in respect of Unauthorised Absence from School.

2. SCHOOL MEAL PRICES FROM APRIL 2007

    To consider the report of the Director of Children's Services on a proposed increase in the price of school meals from April 2007 to reflect the continued improved food and nutritional content of school meals.

3. PROPOSED POLICY CHANGES AND STRATEGY FOR PROVIDING KEY STAGE 2 SWIMMING IN HAMPSHIRE SCHOOLS

    To consider the report of the Director of Children's Services and Director of Property, Business and Regulatory Services on a proposal to consult with schools about developing a strategic approach to the provision of swimming pool facilities for the purpose of delivering Key Stage 2 Swimming.

4. APPOINTMENT TO OUTSIDE BODIES - VACANCY ON ADMISSIONS FORUM

    To consider the report of the Chief Executive on a proposal to fill a vacancy on the Admissions Forum.

5. CROFTON HAMMOND JUNIOR SCHOOL, FAREHAM

    To consider the report of the Director of Property, Business and Regulatory Services on the design project appraisal for a classroom extension at Crofton Hammond Junior School at Fareham.

6. FERNHILL SCHOOL AND LANGUAGE COLLEGE, FARNBOROUGH

    To consider the report of the Director of Property, Business and Regulatory Services on a scheme to improve Craft, Design and Technology facilities at Fernhill School and Language College at Farnborough.

7. HENRY TYNDALE SCHOOL, FARNBOROUGH

    To consider the report of the Director of Property, Business and Regulatory Services on the design project appraisal for a Post - 16 building within the grounds of Henry Tyndale School at Farnborough.

8. MAJOR PROJECTS STATUS REPORT

    To consider the report of the Director of Property, Business and Regulatory Services seeking approval to the addition of funding to major capital projects at Portchester Community School, Rowner Youth Service and Waterside Primary School.

9. MINOR PROJECTS PROGRESS REPORT

    To consider the report of the Director of Property, Business and Regulatory Services about the current position on minor projects.

10. SELF-FUNDED AND PARTIALLY SELF-FUNDED PROJECTS

    To consider the report of the Director of Property, Business and Regulatory Services about the current position on self-funded and partially self-funded projects.

11. EXCLUSION OF THE PRESS AND PUBLIC

RECOMMENDATION:

    That in relation to item 12, the public be excluded from the meeting, as it is likely in view of the nature of the business to be transacted or the nature of the proceedings, that if members of the public were present during that item there would be disclosure to them of exempt information within Paragraphs 1 and 3 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972 and further that, in all the circumstances of the case, the public interest in maintaining the exemption outweighs the public interest in disclosing information for the reasons set out in the report.
