A. KEY DECISIONS
1. EXTENSION TO THE TERM CONTRACT FOR INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE OF TRAFFIC SIGNALS AND ASSOCIATED EQUIPMENT
To consider the report of the Director of Environment on the proposed extension of this contract for the period July 2008 - July 2009 and its possible further extension thereafter.
B. NON-KEY DECISIONS
2. DECOMMISSIONING OF SCHOOL CROSSING PATROL SITE - ABBOTSWOOD JUNIOR SCHOOL, TOTTON
To consider the report of the Director of Environment on the proposal that the school crossing patrol service for the A336 Ringwood Road, Totton, near Abbotswood Junior School, should be decommissioned and removed from the list of active school crossing patrol sites in Hampshire. Consideration of this item was deferred at the Executive Member's meeting in December 2006 in order that further information on factors such as traffic speeds could be obtained and placed before the Executive Member before he makes his decision.
3. CAPITAL PROGRAMME 2006/07 - COMMUNITY TRANSPORT
To consider the report of the Director of Environment on the proposal that grants be paid from Local Transport Plan funding for community transport to assist the purchase of vehicles for Community First New Forest; Winchester Area Community Action; and Bishop's Waltham Minibus Group.
4. HAMPSHIRE STRUCTURE PLAN - ADVICE TO SEERA ON POLICIES TO BE SAVED
To consider the report of the Director of Environment on the proposal to advise the South East England Regional Assembly (SEERA) that certain policies from the existing Hampshire Structure Plan should be saved and remain in force until the South East Plan is adopted early in 2008.
5. PROJECT APPRAISAL : EASTLEIGH QUALITY BUS PARTNERSHIP - PASSFIELD AVENUE - DERBY ROAD
To consider the report of the Director of Environment, and attached project appraisal, on the proposed construction of a permanent mini-roundabout at the junction of Derby Road and Passfield Avenue in Eastleigh.
6. PROJECT APPRAISAL : WHITELEY WAY - TOUCAN CROSSING
To consider the report of the Director of Environment, with attached project appraisal, on the proposed installation of a controlled Toucan crossing and associated footway and off-road cycle links at Whiteley Way.
7. APPOINTMENT TO OUTSIDE BODIES
To consider reports of the Chief Executive on the proposed appointment of elected Members to the following bodies:
(a) North Solent Shoreline Management Plan - Elected Members Group
(b) East Hampshire Road Safety Council.
