To consider the report of the County Treasurer and Director of Children's Services on budget monitoring for 2006/07.

2. CHILDREN'S SERVICES CAPITAL PROGRAMME ISSUES

To consider the report of the Director of Children's Services and County Treasurer on proposed changes to the 2006/07 and 2007/08 capital programmes and on proposals for planning consent for temporary classrooms.

3. GRANTS TO VOLUNTARY ORGANISATIONS 2007-2008

To consider the report of the Director of Children's Services seeking approval to grant recommendations for 2007/08 and to standardising approval for grants to voluntary organisations of up to £5,000 by delegating responsibility to officers within the Youth Service.

4. HAMPSHIRE TEENAGE PREGNANCY STRATEGY - UPDATE

To consider the report of the Director of Children's Services about the success to date of the Hampshire Teenage Partnership Work.

5. FEES AND ALLOWANCES IN RESPECT OF CHILDREN SUPPORTED IN ADOPTION, RESIDENCE AND SPECIAL GUARDIANSHIP ARRANGEMENTS, KINSHIP PLACEMENTS, FOSTER CARE AND FAMILY LINK FOR 2006/07

To consider the report of the Director of Children's Services seeking approval to various increases to allowances, fees and associated expenses.

6. PROVISION OF OUT OF HOURS LEGAL SERVICE

To consider the report of the Director of Children's Services about the use of the Emergency Out of Hours Legal Service .

7. RESULTS OF CONSULTATIONS WITH SCHOOLS ON SCHEME FOR FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT OF SCHOOLS

To consider the report of the Director of Children's Services and the County Treasurer seeking approval to supported changes to the scheme for Financial Management of Schools.

8. THE DEVELOPMENT OF CHILDREN'S CENTRES - PROPOSALS FOR A WORKING MODEL OF GOVERNANCE

To consider the report of the Director of Children's Services seeking approval to a working model for the governance of children's centres in Hampshire.

9. EXCLUSION OF PRESS AND PUBLIC

RECOMMENDATION:

That in relation to the following items, the press and public be excluded from the meeting, as it is likely, in view of the nature of the business to be transacted or the nature of the proceedings, that if members of the public were present during the items there would be disclosure to them of exempt information within Paragraphs 1, 2, 3 and 4 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972, and further that, in all the circumstances of the case, the public interest in maintaining the exemption outweighs the public interest in disclosing the information, for the reasons set out in the reports.
