2. DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST
All Members who believe they have a personal or a personal prejudicial interest in any matter to be considered at the meeting must declare their personal interest and having regard to the circumstances described in paragraphs 9,10,11 and 12 of the County Council's Code of Conduct, consider whether to leave the meeting whilst the matter is discussed. The declaration should be made at the time of the relevant debate.

5. EARLY RETIREMENT POLICY FOR NON TEACHING STAFF - REVIEW
To consider the report of the County Treasurer and Director of Human Resources recommending a revised policy taking into account changes in Regulations and related statutory issues.
6. COMBINING PENSION RIGHTS POLICY
To consider a report of the County Treasurer concerning the combination of pension rights.
7. PAY AND BENEFITS - NEXT STEPS (Report to follow)
To consider a report of the County Treasurer concerning issues related to the implementation of the County Council's new pay structure
8. EXCLUSION OF THE PRESS AND PUBLIC
RECOMMENDATION:
That the public be excluded from the meeting as it is likely, in view of the nature of the business to be transacted or the nature of the proceedings, that if members of the public were present during the remainder of the meeting there would be disclosure to them of exempt information within Paragraphs 1 and 3 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A to the Local Government Act 1972, and further that, in all the circumstances, the public interest in maintaining the exemption outweighs the public interest in disclosing information relating to personal information or the financial or business affairs of any particular person (including the County Council as holder of that information) in Items 7 and 8 for the reasons set out in the respective reports.
9. REVIEW OF SENIOR MANAGEMENT PAY
To consider the confidential report of the Director of Human Resources concerning the senior management pay award for 2007/08.

To consider the confidential report of the Chief Executive.
