1. BETTER HOUSING SOLUTIONS AND RE-PROVISION OF RESIDENTIAL SERVICES

To consider the report of the Director of Adult Services seeking approval for the overall strategy of commissioning alternatives to residential care and the proposal to consult on the re-provision of residential homes at Newnham Bassett House, Basingstoke and Linden House, Lymington.

2. WRITE-OFF OF IRRECOVERABLE DEBTS

To consider the report of the County Treasurer seeking approval to write-off nine debts of over £5,000 relation to 2006/07.

3. TENDERING PLAN FOR BLOCK CONTRACTS FOR MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES

To consider the report of the Director of Adult Services seeking approval for the tendering plan for block contracts for Mental Health Services and the extension of contracts for Mental Health Services.

4. EXCLUSION OF PRESS AND PUBLIC

RECOMMENDATION:

That in relation to the following items the press and public be excluded from the meeting, as it is likely, in view of the nature of the business to be transacted or the nature of proceedings, that if a member of the public were present during the items there would be disclosure to them of exempt information within Paragraphs 1, 2 & 3 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972, and further that in all circumstances of the case, the public interest in maintaining the exempt information outweighs the public interest in disclosing the information, for the reasons set out in the report.

To consider the Exempt Appendix to the report seeking approval for the tendering plan for block contracts for Mental Health Services and the extension of contracts for Mental Health Services (Item 3).
