1. REVIEW OF EDUCATION PROVISION FOR DEAF AND HEARING IMPAIRED CHILDREN
To consider the report of the Director of Children's Services on proposed amendments to an earlier decision taken on 15 February 2007 so that, "August 2009" is substituted for "August 2008" and "September 2009" is substituted for "September 2008".
2. CONSULTATION ON SCHOOL, EARLY YEARS AND 14-16 FUNDING 2008-11
To consider the report of the County Treasurer about the DfES consultation on school, early years and 14-16 funding arrangements for 2008-11.
3. WORKFORCE PLAN 2007/08
To consider the report of the Director of Children's Services seeking approval to the Workforce Plan for 2007/08.
4. DEVELOPERS' CONTRIBUTIONS TOWARDS CHILDREN'S SERVICES FACILITIES
To consider the report of the Director of Children's Services seeking approval to a document entitled "Developers' Contributions towards Children's Facilities - May 2007".
5. MINOR PROJECTS REPORT
To consider the report of the Director of Property, Business and Regulatory Services on progress in implementing those Early Years Centre/Children's Centre schemes in the Children's Services Capital Programme.
6. EXCLUSION OF PRESS AND PUBLIC
That in relation to the following item, the press and public be excluded from the meeting as it is likely, in view of the nature of the business to be transacted or the nature of the proceedings, that if members of the public were present during the items there would be disclosure to them of exempt information within Paragraphs 1, 2 and 4 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A to the Local Government Act 1972, and further that, in all the circumstances of the case, the public interest in maintaining the exemption outweighs the public interest in disclosing the information for the reasons set out in the reports.
