AGENDA
1, APPOINTMENT OF CHAIRMAN
To appoint a Chairman of the Committee.
2. DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST
All Members who believe they have a personal or prejudicial interest in any matter to
be considered at the meeting must declare that interest and, having regard to the
circumstances described in paragraphs 9, 10, 11 and 12 of the County Council's Code
of Conduct, consider whether to leave the meeting whilst the matter is discussed, save
for exercising any right to speak in accordance with paragraph 12 of the Code.
The declaration should be made at the time of the relevant debate.
3. CHAIRMAN'S COMMUNICATIONS
To receive any communications the Chairman may wish to make.
4. GOVERNANCE ARRANGEMENTS
To consider the report of the Hampshire Director of Environment, the Portsmouth
Head of Planning Services and Southampton Head of Planning and Sustainability
which informs the Committee of the Governance arrangements contained in the
Agreement.
5. BUSINESS PLAN 2007-2009
To consider the draft Business Plan 2007-2009 for recommendation to the three
constituent authorities.
6. DRAFT LOCAL TRANSPORT BILL
A verbal report to consider the draft Local Transport Bill which provides for the
concept of a Passenger Transport Authority for non-Metropolitan areas.
7. SOLENT TRAVELCARD SMART CARD OPPORTUNITIES
To consider the conclusions of a consultants study into a smart card for the area.
8. BRANDING AND IDENTITY
A verbal report to consider possible options for the Transport for South Hampshire
identity.
9. SCOPE FOR A SOUTH HAMPSHIRE MULTI-AREA AGREEMENT FEATURING TRANSPORT
To consider a reply by the Hampshire Director of Environment on proposals for the future.
10. DATES AND VENUES FOR FUTURE MEETINGS
To agree dates and venues for future meetings of the Committee.
