2. DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST

All Members who believe they have a personal or prejudicial interest in any matter to be considered at the meeting must declare that interest and, having regard to the circumstances described in paragraphs 9, 10, 11 and 12 of the County Council's Code of Conduct, consider whether to leave the meeting whilst the matter is discussed, save for exercising any right to speak in accordance with paragraph 12 of the Code. The declaration should be made at the time of the relevant debate.

5. COMPREHENSIVE SPENDING REVIEW 2007 AND THE COUNTY COUNCIL'S 2008/09-2010/11 PROVISIONAL BUDGET STRATEGY

To consider a report of the County Treasurer detailing the main features of the Comprehensive Spending Review 2007, confirming the provisional budget limits for 2008/09 and 2009/10 as the basis for consultation and the development of budget options, and to agree the provisional budget limits for 2010/11.

6. SOUTH EAST PLAN - REPORT OF THE EXAMINATION -IN-PUBLIC

To consider a report of the Director of Environment detailing the outcome for Hampshire of the South East Plan Examination-in-Public.

7. SCHOOL TRAVEL PATHFINDER BID - HOME TO SCHOOL TRANSPORT

    To consider a report of the Director of Children's Services and the Director of Environment detailing the background to, and seeking approval of a school travel pathfinder bid for home to school transport.

8. CONSULTATION ON DEDICATED SCHOOLS GRANT (DSG) FORMULA REVIEW: TERMS OF REFERENCE

    To consider a report of the County Treasurer seeking approval of a response to the consultation on DSG Formula Review: Terms of Reference for submission to the Department for Children, Schools and Families by 2 November 2007.

9. EDUCATION POLICY STATEMENT

    To consider a report of the Director of Children's Services seeking approval to adopt a policy statement "Maximising well-being through education" for Hampshire schools and colleges.
