5 HARBOUR MASTER'S REPORT

To consider the report of the Director of Recreation and Heritage giving details of significant events and incidents on the River over the past 4 months.

6 ENVIRONMENTAL UPDATE

To consider the report of the Director of Environment on current issues, notably the River Hamble Harbour Oil Spill Contingency Plan; arrangements for a meeting of the Hamble Estuary partnership as a means of involving environmental groups; the port waste management plan; and student placements.

7 RIVER HAMBLE HARBOUR AUTHORITY - BUSINESS PLAN 2008/09

To consider the report of Director of Recreation and Heritage on proposals for a business plan to guide management of the River over the next year.

8 GOVERNANCE REVIEW - OUTCOMES REPORT
To consider the report of Director of Recreation and Heritage and Director of Environment on the outcomes of the independent review commissioned into governance of the River Hamble.

9 DATES FOR FUTURE MEETINGS

To note the Schedule of meetings for the Management Committee currently planned for 2008 as follows:

4 January; 25 April; 20 June; 24 October.
