1. DRAFT HAMPSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL POLICY REGARDING THE USE AND MANAGEMENT OF MOTOR VEHICLES ON RIGHTS OF WAY AND UNSURFACED ROADS IN THE COUNTRYSIDE
To consider the report of the Director of Recreation and Heritage and the Director of Environment on the preparation of a policy.
2. PROPOSAL TO APPLY FOR A NUMBER OF TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDERS TO RESTRICT ACCESS AND USE BY MOTOR VEHICLES TO SPECIFIED PUBLIC RIGHTS OF WAY
To consider the report of the Director of Recreation and Heritage on the proposal to make temporary traffic regulation orders for Byways Open to All Traffic, located in Ashmansworth; Chawton; East Meon; Farringdon; Four Marks; Hawkley; Rockbourne; and Whitsbury.
3. CULTURAL PATHFINDER - THE EXPERIENCE AND LEARNING FROM PARTICIPATION IN A NATIONAL PATHFINDER PROGRAMME
To consider the report of the Director of Recreation and Heritage on the key points which emerged from the County Council's participation in the national cultural pathfinder programme.
4. FINANCIAL AND PERFORMANCE MONITORING 2007/08
To consider the report of the Director of Recreation and Heritage and County Treasurer on progress with the revenue budget for the current year and on significant variations which have occurred so far.
5. BASING HOUSE RUINS - HERITAGE LOTTERY FUND GRANT
To consider the report of the Director of Recreation and Heritage on the proposed use of lottery funds towards the development of the Basing House and Grange Farm site at Old Basing.
6. FUNDING SUPPORT TO SOUTHAMPTON AND PORTSMOUTH OUTDOOR ACTIVITY CENTRES FROM 2008/09
To consider the report of the Director of Recreation and Heritage on a series of reductions to be applied to County Council's support towards funding the outdoor activity centres in Portsmouth and Southampton, to bring levels of funding for these centres into line with those in place at County Council maintained centres.
7. COMMUNITY BUILDINGS FUND 2007/08
To consider the report of the Director of Recreation and Heritage on applications for financial support towards village halls at Beech, Botley and Michelmersh & Timsbury.
8. ARTS ACTIVITY FUNDING 2008/09
To consider the report of the Director of Recreation and Heritage on the allocation of financial support to a wide range of arts organisations and festivals.
9. THE MAKING
To consider the report of the Director of Recreation and Heritage on the proposal to allocate a grant to the Making for the years 2008/09 and 2009/10, in order to enable them to continue their work on the development of crafts in Hampshire.
